Yes, the title refers to little Danny Boy. The question is, is he a brave dog, an absolutely brilliant dog, or just batty?
Jay and Heidi had a new dishwasher installed in their apartment. The installation is not complete and there is a small gap between the floor and the dishwasher. When it is finished, the gap will be covered and it will look great. BUT IN THE MEANTIME....
Sweet little Danny Boy was in the kitchen with the pen set up so he was confined. Heidi and Jay left for a short time and upon their return, they were surprised to see their little darling sitting on the sofa, wagging a happy greeting! So how did he do it? They could not figure it out as the fencing is 4 feet high and Danny isn't much of a climber (unlike Auggie).
They put him in back in the kitchen with the pen up and sat down to watch TV to what he would do. Now this is the question...is he brilliant because he could figure out how to escape, is he brave ~ enjoying exploring and trying new things like escaping, or has he gone batty? He actually showed them how he could slither between the gap and come out on the other side! Who said Dachshunds were quitters?
So, while Heidi was running errands today, Danny joined me. No escaping from "Grandma's House!"
